The university is in conformity with all of the NCAA operating principles.
Highlights of the self-study include the following:

- As part of the minority plan, the university will continue to collect and review data related to diversity in hiring staff and diversity in student-athlete participation.
- The university will continue to provide strong levels of academic support that comply with NCAA operating principles regarding academic standards.
- The university will also continue to follow the same admissions process for athletics and non athletes.
- The university continues to maintain a strong system of institutional control over both intercollegiate athletics and direct-support organizations (e.g., Seminole Boosters).
- The self-study reaffirms the ultimate presidential authority over intercollegiate athletics.
- The university continues to have adequate systems in place to monitor compliance.
